Words of Encouragement (WOE) Reunion

Words of Encouragement(WOE) is a nightly thread started by Joyce72747 approximately 19 months ago. I believe it is one of the longest running threads in Bonanza/Bonanzle history. Joyce hosted this every night without fail. She now has a number of scheduled hosts (I, myself, host this thread regularly).

It was started so that everyone had a chance to encourage each other thru the sparse selling times that were experienced with any new site. It has since evolved into not only encouraging sales but also anything from business issues to personal issues as well as just some nights of sheer silliness and laughter. Everyone is welcome to post on this thread.

We have all shared our thoughts, dreams, sadness and joys. We are among friends and have developed caring relationships with one another. Some have nurtured personal friendships and others are CYBER Friendships only. There is one common goal....encouragement. This thread fulfills a common need.

Over time, some have left our quaint little group and others have joined in.

While Joyce and I were talking on the phone one day, the subject came up about having a cyber reunion. (She is an excellent list keeper and had the urls for everyone who had ever posted on the WOE thread). We decided it would be fun to get in touch with everyone and have a 10 day celebration. Hence, the WOE Reunion 10 day pre CYBER MONDAY Sale culminating in a Reunion cyber reunion party. This party should be a blast.

This sale starts Novmber 7 and runs thru November 17 on Bonanza.com.

PLANNING...THAT'S THE KEY

Time is wasting away rather quickly. We are all so busy with our daily lives.....the cooking, cleaning, gardening, children's soccer games, not to mention going to work everyday and SHOPPING. How do we do it????

Now that I am retired from the work force...I often contemplate...How Did I Manage To Get Everything Done? The answer is easy....I DIDN'T. Outside appearances showed all was well, but inside was a whole other story. We all know that "closet or drawer" from hell. Never straight. Everything upside down. Come on admit it we all have them.

What we did manage to get done was carefully planned out by the calendar and the clock. Sometimes even those plans got trashed.....instead of making dinner we either "dialed a dinner" or headed to the quickest "drive thru" we could find and ate on the run.

Well, here are some helpful tips. Get yourself a cup of coffee and read on.

1. Plan, Plan and Plan.
Plan your week.....start by making a list of the chores you want to accomplish that week.Make it reasonable. If it is too overwhelming...you will not do any of it.

2. Multitask.
Do a load of laundry while you vacuum or dust. (two things off that list).

3. Assign Chores
Get the whole family involved. Give every member of the family a chore. Kids could be responsible for keeping their rooms tidy. And for a laugh assign hubby to "bathroom" duty. You do not have to be responsible for all the chores. Make your life a little easier.

4. Plan your meals and make your grocery list. Stick to it. Not only will it save you time but it will save you money. Buy fruits and veggies in season. Check the flyers for specials. But, remember, it is not a sale if you do not use the product.

5. Plan your errand route. Try to make it a one excursion affair. Do all your errands in one trip. This will also save you time and fuel.

6. Plan some "ME" time. This is the most important. You will feel better. Imagine that bubble bath with the good book, glass of wine, peace and quiet.....ahhhh what a feeling.

Eventually, you will get it all done. And if you don't...oh well. Then it will be time to consider hiring a cleaning lady and leave it all up to her.

When you finally put your feet up at the end of the day......you can shop on line. This can be relaxing too. It is time to start PLANNING your holiday shopping.

Yes I know it is only July BUT.....this too takes some planning and budgeting. It an also be very stressful. If planned out properly, you too, can be ready for the holidays with no strain on the pocketbook. By starting your shopping now, you will not feel the pressure. You can take your time to find the "right" gift for everyone on your list. I encourage you to take a look at the CHRISTMAS IN JULY promotion that is happening for the month of July at www.bonanzle.com.
There are approximately 300 booths participating in the promotion and all are offering discounts. Some booths even have a "Layaway" plan at no charge to you. That is a savings as well. You can make your purchases over time, allowing you to better budget your dollars.

I am participating in this promotion and have posted a list of all the participants in my booth.

This list will be clickable. I will also be adding new listings each day, so check back often.

Hope the above has given you food for thought and makes your life a little easier.

Until the next time........be happy.......be safe

BONANZLE HAS TALENT

Hi everyone.

I am back. I am in the process of renewing my commitment to this blog. I admit I have been lacking in my efforts here. Now it is onward and upwards.

In my efforts to promote my bonanzle booth (http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/jinx_stuff) I have wondered thru many other booths and have met a great number of people. All of these Bonanzle sellers are passionate about what they do at Bonanzle. Some of the people I have met are multi talented. Something, a buyer would probably never learn about the vendor unless they get to chatting it up.

In this blog, I would like to feature one person I think fits the bill on a professional and personal level. Debbie sells on Bonanzle (http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/dcoyote) She Wolfs Den.

She has an interesting array of items. Check it out.

Debbie is a caring mother, grandmother and daughter. She is also multi-talented. One of her strong talents is writing poetry. I usually am not affected one way or the other by poetry, BUT Debbie's poetry has touched my heart. Hopefully one day she will be published. I am posting one of her poems here.

Tomorrow May Never Come

TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME

I remember standing beside the place that you will rest for eternity,
I thought of all the feelings trapped in my heart… the hurts… the pains… the happiness… the joys… that I never had a chance to share with you.
I had thought … there is always tomorrow.
I loved you so very much, but I wonder now…did you know… did it show… even though the words went unspoken?
Not because the love was not there, but because… I thought, there was always Tomorrow.
As I stood by your side with only your memory in my heart, I realized, I could have done so much more… but it’s too late, for there is NO tomorrow!

Debbie also does some fantastic Doodle Art

I hope the above gives you all a little more insight into the people behind the sellers facade. I know I have learned a great deal from the many people I have met on Bonanzle. A lot of these people are very inspiring.

Hopefully, others will come forward with their "other" talents and can be show cased here as well.

Until the next time......be happy.....be safe
