LABOR DAY....LONG WEEKEND

Ahhhh!!!! Labor Day Weekend. What does it mean to you?



This holiday weekend signifies different things to many people.

To some it signifies the end of summer.....so sad. The warm summer days may still be upon us but those nights can be pretty chilly.

To Some it signifies that autumn is on our doorstep. A beautiful season. The glory of the colors as the trees change their "clothes" for the bright reds, yellows and oranges. Although short lived, I still enjoy the fall tours and the spectacular sights. For those without A/C, it means better sleeping weather. Don't forget the corn roasts and getting together with family and friends.

Husbands, brothers,fathers, nephews turning into couch potatoes as the football season begins.......a game on every channel every day/night. (So glad my DH is not a football fan)


To the moms out there.....Happy time ....the kids are back to school......no more whining about nothing to do.....it's hot.....my friends are not home ...nobody is around to play with....(I think you get the picture). It also means shopping for back to school supplies, bag lunches, Mom's taxi is back in service.

To others it is a time to start thinking about the "Holiday" shopping that has to be done. Making that list checking it twice....don't want to forget Aunt Ethel....
